Sweet Embellishments

The other day I found a cute little black bag at the thrift store for $1. It was lacking character so I went ahead and gave it a make over with a doily and a cute button. The simple embellishments completely transformed this old bag into new. I'm super excited to wear it!

Well...I should be sleeping right now...but I'm not. I've been so busy that I haven't updated the blog in a long time! I've spent the last few weeks shopping around some thrift stores and antique shops and I've found some great items that I hope to share with you soon!

Inspirational Collage/Photo Frame

One day as I was sitting at my desk doing homework, I realized my desk was missing something. I decided to create this collage of different elements to create a piece of art to place on my desk. Hope you all enjoy!

What you will need:

-Scrap paper, card stock, stickers, scrapbook paper, dried flowers, fabric, or any additional materials you would like to add to create a picture.

- A frame (I found a cheap one at the $1 store!)

-Scissors and glue

-Your imagination

1. Gather materials and cut out shapes or pieces of paper to form design.

2. Use additional pieces to add textures. ( I used a cross charm)

3. Glue and attach pieces to card stock. ( I used a greeting card)

4. Assemble pieces in frame and you are finished!
